The Pac-10 on the road against BCS schools since 2000.

In 2010, the Pac-10 conference has six non-conference games on the road against schools from automatic BCS qualifying conferences. On September 4th, Oklahoma State welcomes Washington State and the Bruins of UCLA travel to Manhattan to play Kansas State. On September 11th, Oregon heads to Rocky Top to battle Tennessee. September 18th includes Arizona State at Wisconsin and USC heading to play Minnesota.  September 25th will provide UCLA traveling to Austin to play Texas. Pac-10 schools have comprised a record of 25-30 since 2000 against the power conferences of college football (ACC, Big 10, Big 12, Big East, SEC). The Pac-10 plays the best on the road against the SEC at 5-5 since 2000, and USC tops the conference at 8-1 with UCLA standing second at 5-2.

Looking at the past decade statistically to analyze these tough non-conference match-ups shows the Pac-10 should expect to go 3-3 or 2-4 in these five games. Pac-10 wins: USC at Minnesota. Pac-10 losses: Washington State at Oklahoma State, Arizona State at Wisconsin, UCLA at Texas. Swing games: Oregon at Tennessee, UCLA at Kansas State.
